We are extremely excited to announce that in March next year we will have the famous African Children’s Choir performing here at OSSMA.
The African Children’s Choir is composed of African children, aged 7 to 10 years old. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease. They represent all the children of a continent and they demonstrate the potential of African children to become strong leaders for a better future in their land.
They have performed all around the world singing on shows like “American Idol” with Josh Groban and more recently, performing outside Buckingham Palace as part of the Commonwealth Choir, alongside Garry Barlow for the Queens Diamond Jubilee Concert in 2012.
Organised by St. Paul’s Church, the African Children’s Choir will be performing here in the Courtney Holdcroft Community Theatre on Friday March 28th and Saturday March 29th 2014 from 7pm.
Tickets are available from OSSMA and St. Paul’s Church at the price of £6 for adults and £4 for under 16’s
All proceeds will be donated to the African Children’s Choir.
