Blood Brothers Theatre Trip

Posted on: May 8, 2013

37 children went to see Blood Brothers at the Regent Theatre on May 8th. The show was outstanding with Maureen Nolan playing Mrs Johnston in a spellbinding performance. The play is useful for Sociology students, as well as being a GCSE text for English, as it describes the effects of social class and education on life chances.

After a standing ovation, the children described the powerful effect the story had on them all the way back to school. As always our children’s behaviour was exemplary and their appearance immaculate. It is always a pleasure to take our children on cultural visits as they really appreciate their opportunities.
