Open Week 2015

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I am delighted to invite you to a number of events at Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy that I am sure will convince you we live up to our national recognition as one of the top 90 non selective schools in the country and an ideal choice for your child’s future education.

Our recent achievements are:-

I hope you will be able to join us at one of our events to showcase the good practice you will find happening every day in the academy.

From Monday 5th to Thursday 8th October 2015 we have an ‘Open Week’ where you can visit the academy for tours at 9.30am and 1.30pm, (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and 9.30am (Wednesday) to see the wide range of excellent facilities and our lessons with high quality learning.

On Wednesday 23rd September 2015 we are hosting an ‘Open Evening’ to ‘Meet the Principal’ at 6.00pm and 7.30pm and to tour the academy to meet students and staff. Light refreshments will be available from 6.30pm

The academy not only offers an excellent education, but also provides a free school uniform and PE Kit to all Year 7 students, a Summer School and a wide range of free extra-curricular activities before and after the normal hours of the academy day.
