Some of our parents may have received an email overnight stating that their child was absent from school. This was a technical fault with the system that we use and after investigating we have received the following reply from the company that control this system:
“Overnight we have experienced a technical issue with “No-reply” emails that have been sent by Truancy Call, which has caused the system to have sent notifications to your parents regarding absence which have occurred since the 24/2/2014.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this – the email does state the actual date of absence, but we accept this may generate some enquires from parents,
Everything is running normally now – we can confirm no other system was affected. The issue has been rectified, steps in place to prevent reoccurrence.”
We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience that this may have caused and have been re-assured that this will not happen again.
