OSSMA are excited to announce that we have joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
This means that as a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a free healthy school breakfast, available to all students, that will help them to be settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.
The free breakfast provision will commence on Monday 21st January 2019 until March 2020 and will be available daily from 8am until 8.40am Monday to Friday.
This service is available to all students that wish to take advantage of the offer. There will be a buffet-style option of bagels, corn flakes, crisped rice, Shreddies and Cheerios, all completely free of charge. Students do not need to pre-register and do not need to be part of a club.
Food will be available on a first come, first served basis, and for the initial first week it may be difficult to anticipate how many students will take up this offer, however we will try to ensure that all students who wish to have a free breakfast will receive one.
